Déjà Vu Events began hosting psytrance, progressive and electro events at Dream Nightclub in Melbourne Australia in 2006 with local DJs such as Redline and Luke Shamanix, and soon began booking Melbourne-based trance producers like Mr Peculiar, Hefty Output and Siaqua to perform.
The parties grew over the next few years to hosting internationals ranging from the first Australian gig of Broken Toy (Alchemy Records / South Africa) and a party with Space Tribe (Space Tribe Music / UK) at Dream, Zen Mechanics (Neurobiotic Records / Netherlands) and Fatali (B.N.E Records / Israel) at Room680.
Our most recent parties include recently hosting Zen Mechanics (Netherlands) and Hyperception (Mr Peculiar & Auricle) at Brown Alley on Friday March 19th, Space Tribe (Space Tribe Music / UK) and Mr Peculiar (Magnetic Pulse Records) up-stairs @ The Mercat on Saturday 8th May, and Dark Nebula, Psywalker and UFO up-stairs @ at the Mercat on Friday 9th July!
We hope you can make it down to our next party Déjà Vu XIV ~ Tantrum, Launchpad, WitchidiGrub, F.S.P, Terrafractyl & more up-stairs @ The Mercat, Melbourne on Friday 3rd September!
Plans are also underway for Friday 5th November @ Brown Alley, and a Déjà Doof outdoor festival at some point in the future too!~) |
