M-THEORY are U.K. based Marcello Baccheschi & Rob Nichols. Meeting on the dance floor of Sola Luna (2001) they became good friends and already producing trance music under their own solo projects, they decided in 2005 to produce music together under their project M-THEORY. Signed to Alchemy Records in 2007, M-Theory are exciting dance floors with their edgy morning melodic sounds, underpinned by phat & funky bass lines. ______________________________________________________________
Marchello: Electronic music lover since his teenage years, Italian-born Marchello moved to London in 1997 where he started dj'ing trance. Performing alongside all major artists in underground venues and legendary clubs alike (Tyssen Street studios, Enlightenment, Mindscapes, Astral Phoenix, Antiworld and Chichime to name a few), his groovy taste and impeccable mixing technique has won him a respected place in the UK psytrance scene. Label dj for Etnicanet Records from 2001 to 2004, he moved to Neurobiotic Records in 2005. He has played around Europe, at international festivals and events like Celebra Brazil, Brazilians Trance Festival, Sonica and more. In 2002 along with friends he founded the cutting-edge London party ‘Fairy Tales’. Producing music for a while now, his solo project Cimi has appeared in compilations for Alchemy, Point Zero and Yellow Sunshine Explosion.
Rob: Playing music from the age of 12, U.K. born Rob grew up in a small Somerset costal town. After taking up piano, Rob moved on to drums and guitar but remained a keyboard player foremost; playing in school and college bands. At University he became equipment manger and promoted the ‘Flat press’ electronic nights in Winchester, U.K, spinning vinyl such as Orbital, F.S.O.L and Black Dog Productions - Rob also had a hand in the early 90’s London squat party ‘Zero Gravity’ ~ hosting regular names such as Cloggi, Quark, Sonic, Justin & Aaron Liberator, Dave the Drummer and the Club Dog crew. Often journeying to festivals and parties through the 90’s Rob followed the Techno road until 1995 when a friend played him a Tsuyoshi Suzuki mix and Rob discovered ‘Goa Trance’. Travelling the world to find out ‘what it was all about’…he returned to London in 2000 and began producing psytrance under the name ‘Monastic Squid’; releasing on Alchemy Records and Procyon Records.

Nach dem erfolgreichen Start im März freuen wir uns die zweite Ausgabe der Event Serie Synthesia in Graz zu präsentieren.
Das Non Stop Kino hat sich als perfekten Austragungsort dieser Serie bewährt und somit werden wir am Freitag den 21. Mai wieder Audio- und Visualkunst auf 2 Floors geniessen dürfen.
Mit dabei ist diesmal das bei dem renommierten Label Alchemy Rec. unter Vertrag und aus England und Italien stammende Duo "M-Theory" deren Debüt Album "Branes" 2009 auf allen großen Dancefloors zu hören war.
Als zweiter Live Act für die Beschallung am Mainfloor verantwortlich ist der italienische New Comer "Ilai", der uns unter anderem seine Ep "Beat Junkie" präsentieren wird, die in kürze auf dem Label 24/7 veröffentlicht wird.
Als Dj Support spielen neben dem aus der Grazer Szene nicht mehr wegzudenkenden Noize Hunter, Astralex, Link, Vince.Sanity und Nikos.
Am Second Floor wird der Progressive Live Act "Cimi" der schon zahlreiche Releases auf verschiedenen Labels hatte von der senkrechtstarterin Djane Kida, und den Dj´s Sinus, Alex_Anders und Raffa L unterstützt. |
